  • Charkhi Dadri is 22nd district of Haryana :

Harayana Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar announces Charkhi Dadari as 22nd district of Haryana. People were demanding for this from 10 years . At present Charkhi Dadri is Part of Bhiwani which is states largest district.
  • Indian Railways launches Yatri Mitra Sewa to help differently abled people :

Indian Railways took an important step to make rail travel comfortable for elderly , differently abled and ailing travellers. This scheme will provide wheelchairs, battery operated cars and porter services for differently abled travellers.
  • National Labour meet :

Two day national Labour meet starts in Bhuwneswar,Odisha.Th event is jointly organized by the state labour dept. and the International Labour Org. Wages will be most important issue of meeting.
  • Yes Bank Partners with NiYO :

Yes Bank has partnerd with th Fintech startup NiYO to revolutionise the employee benefits ecosystem in India. Under this partnership,Yes Bank along with NiYO has rolled out the Yes Bank NiYO benefits card.
  • HRD minister launches PARAM-ISHAN :

Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar Launched supercomputing facility PARAM-ISHAN in IIT Guwahati. PARAM-ISHAN has power of 250 teraflops and 300 tera bytes capacity.It will be helpful in areas like computational fluid dynamics, computational chemistry etc.

  • Monika Kapil Mohta appointed Ambassador to Sweden :

Presently Additional Secretary in the Ministry Ms. Monika Kapil Mohta has appointed as the next ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Sweden. As of September 2015 serves as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of external Affairs in New Delhi and looks after India’s relations with a large part of the Asia Pacific region.
  • Anandi Ramalingam assumed charge as BEL’s first woman director :

Anandi Ramalingam has assumed charge as Director Marketing of the Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL).She becomes first woman to be appointed as the Director of the company. Before this appointment she was the General Manager at BEL Banglore.

International:

  • Two Indians in team of United Nations :

United Nations build a team of 17 young leaders of around the globe to take steps on topics like environmental changes and eliminate poverty from the globe. Tasha Shetty and Ankit kawatra are two Indians who are part of team.
  • China & Russia conclude joint Naval exercise:

Chinese and Russian naval forces concluded their joint military exercise in the waters off the southern province of Guangdong,China.
  • Malaysian Envoy releases translated book on Sai Baba :

The consul general of Malaysia in India Eldeen Husaini Muhammad Hashim has released the translated version of ‘Sai Charitra Granth’ a book on life of Sai Baba
